What StrixLink Does
StrixLink is a security systems supplier and installer based in Lahore. We sell cameras, recorders, switches, access control hardware and cable, and we install and configure the systems we sell. Both halves matter: a good camera mounted at the wrong height on an undersized recorder is still a bad system.
Our work splits roughly into three streams. Supply, where a client or another contractor wants hardware and a datasheet. Full installation, where we survey, design, fit and hand over. And service, where we take on somebody else’s Pollo system and get it working again.
We work with homes, shops, offices, clinics, schools, apartment buildings, factories and warehouses. Most of that work is in Lahore, and we supply and install in other major Pakistani cities as well.
How We Prefer to Work
Survey before quotation
We would rather spend an hour walking your boundary than send a guessed figure. Camera positions, cable routes and power points are agreed with you on site, not decided later by whoever is holding the drill.
One brand, properly stocked
As an authorised Pollo Security reseller we keep to a consistent range, so cameras, recorders and switches are known quantities and spares are predictable.
Our own installation team
The people who quote the job are connected to the people who fit it, which is why we can answer a question about your cable route two months later.
Cabling you can work on later
Conduit and casing routed sensibly, terminations done properly, channels and cables labelled at the recorder. The next person to open that rack should not need a torch and a prayer.
Load-shedding aware design
We check whether the recorder, switch and router sit on the backed-up circuit, because footage of the outage window is exactly what gets asked for after an incident.
Support that continues after handover
Warranty claims, annual cleaning before and after smog season, re-aiming, disk replacement and system expansion.
Why We Carry Pollo Security
StrixLink is an authorised reseller for Pollo Security, and most new systems we design are built from that range. The reason is support rather than loyalty: one compatibility set to quote from, manufacturer datasheets we can forward instead of retyped specifications, and spares that still match the site three years later.
We are not tied to it for everything. Systems already installed in other brands get serviced, extended and repaired as they stand, and we take installation-only work with hardware you have bought elsewhere.
We do not speak for the manufacturer. Any specification we quote comes from the official documentation for that model, and where a claim is not on the datasheet, we say so.
Things We Will Not Say to Win a Job
Security work attracts overpromising. These are the lines you will not hear from us.
- That cameras will stop crime — Cameras deter some incidents, record others and help identify people afterwards. They do not guarantee that nothing will happen, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling rather than advising.
- A final price over the phone — You will get an honest range once we understand the site. The firm figure comes after the survey, when we know the cable runs, the mounting surfaces and the storage you actually need.
- More channels than the site needs — If eight cameras cover your house properly, we will not quote sixteen. We will tell you where a future camera is likely to be wanted and leave capacity for it.
Who We Work For
Residential work is the steady core: houses from 3 marla to 2 kanal and above, apartments, and gated society villas where the society has its own entry rules and its own patrolling. A kanal house is rarely a four-camera job, because the gate-to-porch distance, the two side walls and the back entrance are each a separate problem.
Commercial work runs from a four-camera shop counter to multi-floor offices, clinics and academies operating out of converted houses, where the useful question is which tenant sees which floor. Industrial and logistics clients need perimeter, gate and loading bay coverage, longer retention and cabling that survives a working environment.
Schools, apartment committees and multi-branch businesses have a fourth requirement that hardware alone does not solve: who is allowed to view footage, who exports it, and how a clip is handed to police without wiping the timeline. We set that up as part of handover.

Frequently asked questions
Are you a dealer, an installer, or both?
Both. We stock and sell hardware as an authorised Pollo Security reseller, and we install and configure systems with our own team. You can buy hardware only, book installation only, or take the whole job from us.
Do you service systems you did not install?
Yes. We regularly take on systems fitted by other companies, including brands we do not stock. We will diagnose the fault and tell you plainly whether it is worth repairing or replacing.
Do you provide a proper invoice for company purchases?
Yes, we issue documentation for business purchases including purchase orders and tender submissions.
What warranty comes with the hardware?
Warranty is handled per product line and per model.
Can I visit before ordering?
Yes, you are welcome to come and see equipment in person.
Do you take on annual maintenance contracts?
Yes, for clients who need scheduled cleaning, health checks and a defined callout arrangement rather than ad hoc visits. Factories, schools and apartment buildings usually benefit most because a single failed camera can go unnoticed for weeks otherwise.
Do you install outside Lahore?
Yes, by arrangement. Installation work outside Lahore is scheduled around the site type and the travel involved, so tell us the city and what the premises are before anything is committed. Hardware-only orders are a separate matter and are handled through our contact page.
