Start With the Property, Not the Camera Model
Almost every enquiry we receive starts with a model number or a megapixel figure. That is the last decision, not the first. What decides a good system is the property: how many entry points it has, how far the recorder sits from the furthest camera, how dark the street gets after 10pm, and what you would actually need to prove if something went wrong.
Each solution page below is written around a real property type, with the coverage points we normally recommend, the recorder size that usually fits, and the things that commonly go wrong in Lahore conditions. How a StrixLink Project Runs
1. Site survey
We walk the property, note entry points, cable routes, power position and the lighting after dark, then agree the camera positions with you.
2. Written scope and quotation
You get an itemised list of cameras, recorder, storage, switch, cable and labour. Hardware is quoted as Contact for Price against your specific count.
3. Cabling and mounting
Conduit, casing or roof-level routing is shown to you before any drilling. Cameras are mounted, glands sealed and cable dressed at both ends.
4. Configuration and night check
Recorder, storage days, motion rules and phone access are set up, and camera angles are re-checked after dark, because a daytime angle can be useless at night.
5. Handover and support
We show you playback, clip export and app access on two or three phones, and stay available for faults and expansion afterwards.
What Every Installation Includes
- Agreed camera positions — Nothing is drilled until you have seen where each camera goes and what it will see.
- Protected cable routing — Conduit, casing or trunking as the building allows, with sealed junction boxes at outdoor points.
- Power that matches reality — The recorder, switch and internet router are placed on a backed-up circuit or a dedicated mini-UPS wherever possible.
- Storage sized to your days — Hard disk capacity is chosen for the number of recording days you ask for, not whatever came in the box.
- Phone access set up — App configured on your devices before we leave site, with a separate limited account for staff where needed.
- Privacy-aware aiming — Cameras kept inside your own boundary with masking applied where a neighbouring courtyard or window falls in frame.
Supply Only, Installation Only, or Both
StrixLink is an authorised reseller of Pollo Security, so you can buy hardware from us and have your own electrician fit it. We are equally happy to install cameras you already own, provided we can check the recorder, the cable type and the power arrangement first. If a previous installer left the system half-working, that is a repair and maintenance job rather than a new installation.
Delivery is available across Lahore and to other Pakistani cities including Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Gujranwala, Sialkot and Peshawar. Installation teams are based in Lahore; for other cities, ask us what is possible on your site.

Frequently asked questions
Which solution page should I read if my property is mixed use?
Read the page that matches the part of the building with the most risk. A house with a clinic on the ground floor is usually scoped like an office at the front and a home at the back, and we will combine both on one recorder.
Do you charge for the site survey?
For properties inside Lahore we normally arrange a survey visit before quoting.
Why is there no price list on the site?
Camera pricing in Pakistan moves with import and exchange rates, and the real cost of a job depends on cable length, mounting and storage as much as on the cameras. We quote per site and mark every product as Contact for Price.
Can one recorder cover a house and a shop on the same plot?
Often yes, if both are within cable reach of one recorder position and you are happy for one system to hold both. Where the shop is rented out separately, we usually keep the systems apart so each party sees only their own cameras.
Do you work outside Lahore?
Hardware supply and delivery run nationwide. Installation is primarily a Lahore service; for other cities, message us with the location and scope and we will tell you honestly what we can support.
