Why StrixLink Standardised on One Range

StrixLink is an authorised reseller for Pollo Security. That is a deliberate choice rather than an accident of supply. Mixed-brand systems assembled from whatever was cheapest that month are a common reason a site ends up with a camera that will not pair with the recorder, or a spare that no longer exists two years later.

Working within one range means the compatibility question is settled before we quote, the datasheet we send you is the manufacturer’s own, and replacement parts follow a predictable path. It also means our technicians know the menus, the default behaviours and the quirks, which is the difference between a twenty-minute fix and a half-day visit.

Ask for the manufacturer’s own product documentation for any model and we will send it to you unedited.

The Range We Carry

Every item is Contact for Price. Send the model code, or describe the site and we will shortlist for you.

IP and network cameras

PoE network cameras across common resolutions from 2MP upward, in bullet, dome and turret formats, for systems built on an NVR.

Analog cameras

HDCVI, AHD and TVI models that run over existing coaxial cable with a DVR, which is often the practical upgrade path in an already-finished building.

WiFi cameras

Indoor, outdoor and 360 pan-tilt models for phone viewing, suitable where running cable is not an option.

Solar and 4G cameras

SIM-based cameras with solar power for plots, farmland, boundary walls and construction sites that have neither internet nor a power drop.

Night vision and dual light

Infrared models, dual-light units that switch between infrared and full colour, and active deterrence cameras with light and siren for gates and yards.

PTZ and specialist optics

Speed dome PTZ with optical zoom and auto tracking, fisheye and panoramic units for halls, LPR for controlled gate lanes, and thermal for perimeters.

DVRs and NVRs

DVRs and NVRs including PoE NVRs, from small four-channel units for a shop up to high-channel-count recorders for large multi-site deployments.

AI PoE switches

Gigabit and megabit switches sized to camera load and cable run, so the network layer is designed rather than improvised.

Biometrics and locks

Fingerprint and face attendance devices, electric locks and door controllers for offices, factories and apartment entrances.

Displays and control rooms

Monitors, video walls, decoders, controllers and PTZ keyboards for security rooms that need more than one screen.

Servers and storage

Enterprise storage and server hardware for sites where retention or channel count outgrows a standard recorder.

Cable and accessories

The unglamorous half of the bill of quantities: cable, connectors, junction boxes, glands, power supplies and mounts.

Choosing Within the Range

A rough guide to which family of product usually fits which situation. The exact model is confirmed after survey, since night lighting and cable route change the answer more often than people expect.

If your site is like thisWhere we usually start
A finished house with coaxial cable already in the wallsAnalog HDCVI or AHD cameras with a DVR, reusing the existing cable route
A new build or grey structure where conduit can still be laidIP cameras on a PoE NVR, with Cat6 run before plaster
A dark lane or unlit boundary where you need clothing and vehicle colourDual-light or full-colour models rather than infrared alone
A gate or yard where you want intruders warned off, not just recordedActive deterrence cameras with light and siren
A large yard, plaza forecourt or factory perimeterPTZ with optical zoom, supported by fixed cameras at the choke points
An empty plot, farmland or a site with no power and no internetSolar 4G cameras with on-board or cloud recording
An office needing attendance as well as camerasFingerprint or face devices and electric locks, planned with the camera system
A control room watching several buildingsDecoders, a video wall and a PTZ keyboard, fed from PoE NVRs at each site

How to Get a Price on a Specific Model

1. Find the model code

It is printed on the product label, on the box, and at the top of the datasheet. Codes differ by resolution, lens and housing, so the full string matters.

2. Send it on WhatsApp

Message us on WhatsApp with the code and the quantity. If you only have a photo of the label, send the photo.

3. We confirm stock and price

You get current availability and a figure, along with the official datasheet so you can check the specification yourself rather than taking our word for it.

4. We flag anything that will not fit

If the model you have asked for will not work with your existing recorder or switch, we will say so and suggest the nearest one that will.

5. Order and delivery

Hardware is delivered across Pakistan, and installation is available in Lahore and in other cities by arrangement.

Warranty, Spares and After-Sales

The reason to buy from an authorised reseller rather than a grey-market seller is what happens after something fails. A unit bought from an unknown source usually has no traceable warranty path, and a seller who cannot identify the batch cannot help you.

We keep records of what we supplied and when, so a claim starts from a known point rather than an argument.

Spares and replacements follow the same range, which is the practical benefit of standardising. If a camera fails on a sixteen-channel site three years in, the replacement matches the rest of the installation rather than becoming the odd one out that nobody can configure.

What We Will and Will Not Claim

  • We are an authorised reseller — StrixLink sells Pollo Security products as an authorised reseller and installs them with our own team. We are not the manufacturer and we do not speak on its behalf.
  • Specifications come from the datasheet — Infrared distance, resolution, lens options and operating conditions are quoted from official documentation for the specific model. Where a figure is not published, we will tell you rather than estimate.
  • Real-world performance is site-dependent — A stated infrared range is measured under test conditions. What you get depends on mounting height, angle, reflective surfaces, dust and haze. We would rather set that expectation before installation than after.
  • Compatibility is checked, not assumed — Many IP cameras and recorders interoperate across brands over standard protocols, but we verify it per model before quoting a mixed system instead of promising it in advance.
  • No security guarantees — No camera prevents an incident on its own. Cameras deter, record and support an investigation afterwards, and any supplier promising more than that is selling rather than advising.

Frequently asked questions

Is StrixLink an authorised Pollo Security reseller?

Yes. We supply the range as an authorised reseller and install it with our own team in Lahore and, by arrangement, in other Pakistani cities. Hardware-only orders are delivered nationwide.

Can I see the official datasheet before ordering?

Yes, and we prefer that you do. Send the model code on WhatsApp and we will return the manufacturer’s own datasheet along with the price and stock position, so you are checking the specification rather than taking our word for it.

Will these cameras work with a recorder from another brand?

Often yes, since IP cameras and recorders commonly interoperate over standard protocols, but it varies by model and firmware and some features are lost in a mixed setup. We check compatibility for your specific pair before quoting rather than promising it up front.

What warranty do I get, and how do I claim?

Warranty terms depend on the product line.

Do you sell to other installers and contractors?

Yes. Electricians, IT companies and contractors buy hardware from us for their own projects. Send the full bill of quantities by email to info@strixlink.com for a written quotation.

Why is there no price on the product pages?

Landed hardware cost in PKR moves with the exchange rate and with each shipment, so a published figure would be wrong within weeks. Every item is Contact for Price, and you get the current figure when you ask for it.

Do you support other manufacturers’ equipment?

Yes. We service, repair and extend systems built on other manufacturers’ hardware, and a new StrixLink design is normally built around the range we stock only because that is what we can support properly years later.
