A four-channel recorder built around coaxial cabling, the PLC 1804 H1 PM accepts TVI, AHD or CVI cameras at up to 8MP, and will also take two IP cameras as supplied. If you need more network cameras, the analog inputs can be switched over so all four channels run IP instead. H.265 high-profile compression holds the bitrate down and the HDMI output feeds a 4K display for live view. The single drive bay is the point to think through: four 8MP channels recording continuously fill a disk quickly, so retention depends on the drive fitted and how the schedule is set. Frequently asked questions

Will my existing analog cameras work with this DVR?

If they are TVI, AHD or CVI cameras, yes, they connect straight to the four analog inputs. Older CVBS-only cameras are a different standard and should be checked before you buy. Send us the camera model on WhatsApp and we will confirm compatibility.

Can I run IP cameras and analog cameras together?

Out of the box the unit records four analog channels plus two IP cameras up to 8MP. If you would rather go fully network-based, the analog channels can be switched so the recorder takes four IP inputs. You cannot exceed the channel count in either direction.

How many days of footage will one hard disk hold?

That depends on the disk capacity you fit, the resolution each camera runs at, and whether you record continuously or on motion only. Four channels at full 8MP consume far more space than the same four at a reduced stream. H.265 helps considerably, and motion-based scheduling extends retention further.

Can I add a second hard disk later?

No, this model has one drive bay. If longer retention matters to you, either fit a larger single drive from the start or look at the 8-channel model, which has two bays. We can talk through the sizing on WhatsApp.
