About the 4 Megapixel Network Bullet Camera (PLC 424M AU IR5 PM)
Reach is what separates this bullet from the 30-metre models: infrared out to 50 metres makes it the one we reach for on long boundary walls and deep plots where the far end goes dark. Resolution is 2560 × 1440 from a 1/3-inch sensor, with IP67 sealing and a choice of DC12V or PoE power. One honest caution — infrared range is the distance the light travels, not the distance at which you can identify a face. Treat the far end of that range as detection, and keep an identification camera near the gate or door itself.
Key benefits
- Fifty-metre infrared reach covers long walls that shorter-range models leave dark
- 2560 × 1440 recording gives noticeably more crop room than a 1080p camera
- DC12V or PoE power keeps installation options open on older cabling
- Highlight compensation reduces glare from headlights entering the frame at night
- IP67 build handles a rooftop or pole position fully exposed to weather
Where it works well
- Long boundary wall of a kanal house in DHA
- Perimeter of a factory yard in Sundar Industrial Estate
- Farmhouse driveway on Bedian Road after dark
- Warehouse loading bay covered along its full length
- Rooftop position overlooking a plot under construction

Frequently asked questions
Will I recognise a face at 50 metres?
No, and no camera at this resolution should be sold on that basis. The 50-metre figure is how far the infrared throws, which lets you see that a person is present and what they are doing. For identification, put a camera close to the gate or door where people naturally pass.
Should I take this or the 30-metre 4 MP bullet?
Measure from the camera position to the furthest point you actually care about. If that falls comfortably inside 30 metres, the other model uses a larger 1/2.7-inch sensor and will give the better picture. If the far end of the plot goes dark, take this one for the reach.
Is a 1/3-inch sensor a drawback at 4 MP?
It is a genuine trade-off. Packing 4 MP onto a smaller sensor means smaller pixels, and the 0.011 lux figure reflects that. In reasonable light it is not an issue, but in a dark area a larger-sensor model or a full-colour night camera will look better.
What will it cost to cover my boundary wall?
That depends on the wall length, how many cameras it needs and where the recorder sits. Send the plot size and a rough sketch to +92 300 0030132 on WhatsApp and we will come back with a camera count and current pricing.
