How is dual-light different from an ordinary IR camera?

A standard infrared camera gives you a black and white picture once it is dark. This model carries both infrared and white light, so it can stay monochrome or move to white light and record in colour. The specification puts the dual-light night view at 30 metres.

Will the white light disturb my neighbours?
