About the 5 Megapixel Network Dome Camera

A fixed-lens 5 MP dome built around a 1/2.7-inch CMOS sensor, recording at 2880 × 1620. The 0.007 lux colour rating is low, so a porch light or a street lamp is often enough to hold full-colour night vision, and 30 metres of infrared covers the rest. Motion, line-crossing and region intrusion events can be set as alarm triggers, and ONVIF support means it will sit on most existing NVR systems. The trade-off is the fixed lens: the field of view is decided when the camera is mounted, not afterwards. Available in Lahore, with pricing confirmed on WhatsApp.

Frequently asked questions

Will it stay in colour at night without adding a floodlight?

It needs some ambient light to do that. The 0.007 lux rating is low enough that a porch bulb, shop sign or street lamp will usually keep the picture in colour. In genuine darkness it switches to infrared and works in black and white out to 30 metres.

Can the viewing angle be adjusted after installation?

Not optically. This is a fixed-lens model, so the coverage you get depends on where and at what angle the dome is fitted. If you expect to re-frame the shot later, the motorised varifocal dome in the same range is the better choice.

Will it work with the NVR I already have?

It supports the ONVIF protocol, which most current network recorders accept. Some recorder-specific features depend on the brand pairing. Send us the make and model of your NVR on WhatsApp and we will confirm before you order.

Does it need a separate power supply at the camera?

It accepts either DC12V or PoE under IEEE802.3af. With a PoE switch you only pull one network cable to the camera position, which is usually neater and cheaper on a new installation.
