About the 8 Megapixel Network Bullet Motorized Camera
Combining 4K capture with a motorised 2.8–12 mm lens, this bullet suits the position where you cannot decide between a wide view and a tight one until the camera is actually up. Zoom runs to 4× under remote control, infrared reaches 50 metres, and the 1/2.7-inch sensor records 3840 × 2160. Minimum colour illumination is 0.032 lux, higher than the fixed-lens models in this range, which is the usual cost of a varifocal lens: in very dark areas it will move to infrared sooner. Pair it with a recorder sized for 8 MP streams, and ask us on WhatsApp for pricing.
Key benefits
- Remote 4× zoom lets one camera serve either a wide approach or a narrow gate view
- Infrared to 50 metres combined with 4K detail suits long driveways and perimeters
- Motorised focus removes the ladder work when a view has to be re-framed later
- An IP67 metal bullet body with sun shade tolerates open wall and pole mounts
- Line crossing and region intrusion detection can drive alarm triggers on the recorder
- ONVIF streaming means it can be added to most existing network video recorders
Where it works well
- Perimeter wall of a factory unit in Kot Lakhpat
- Approach road to a farmhouse off Bedian Road
- Long boundary of a kanal house in DHA Phase 6
- Truck yard and weighbridge on Multan Road
- Society entry lane in Lake City

Frequently asked questions
Why is its low-light figure worse than the fixed-lens 8 MP bullet?
Zoom lenses pass less light than simple fixed lenses, which is why this one is rated at 0.032 lux against 0.02 lux on the fixed model. In a lit area you will not notice. In a completely unlit yard it means the camera moves into infrared a little earlier in the evening.
How far can I usefully zoom in?
The lens covers 2.8 mm to 12 mm, giving 4× optical zoom. Zooming in narrows the field of view in proportion, so the closer you frame a gate, the more of the surrounding area you give up. We normally set it once during commissioning to match the priority view.
Can the zoom be changed from a phone?
Yes, the lens is motorised and is driven from the recorder interface or the mobile app, provided the camera is properly added to the system. There is no manual adjustment ring to reach on the camera body.
What is needed to power it on a long cable run?
It accepts DC12V or PoE at IEEE802.3af. For long runs we plan the switch position and cable route carefully, since voltage drop and cable quality cause more site problems than the camera itself.
