Cabling Into a Finished House Without Wrecking the Finish
The honest position on a retrofit is that the cable has to go somewhere visible unless you are willing to break plaster. Our default is a roof level route that drops down at each camera position, with casing or trunking on the outside where a drop is unavoidable, kept off the front elevation wherever possible.
We walk that route with you before any drilling starts. It takes ten minutes and it is the difference between a system you are happy to look at and a set of grey lines across a newly painted wall. Where the recorder ends up matters too: it needs ventilation, a lockable position out of casual reach, and a power point that survives load shedding.
If a property already has old coaxial cable from a previous system, say so at survey. Reusing sound coax with modern HDCVI or AHD cameras avoids most of the disruption and often gets the picture quality people were actually asking for.
Clinics, Labs and Academies: Sensible Camera Placement
A large share of Faisal Town's commercial units are healthcare or teaching related, and those buildings need a clear line between what is covered and what is not.
- Cover the entrance and reception — This is where disputes, missing files and after hours entry actually get resolved, and where a face height camera earns its place.

- The recorder and the switch — Both need to be on the backed up side of the distribution board, not on the raw grid circuit that feeds the lights.
- The router and ONU — Without these, recording continues but your phone shows nothing. This is the fault we are called out for most often.
- A dedicated mini UPS if there is no inverter — Sized for the recorder, switch and router only, which keeps the cost down and covers the outage window that matters.
- Surge protection at the rack — Voltage fluctuation and generator changeover both take equipment out. Protection at the rack is far cheaper than replacement.

A general purpose camera will not reliably read plates on moving traffic, especially at night. Plate capture needs a dedicated camera at a controlled entry point with the correct angle and lighting, which we can scope separately.
Can I keep my old cameras and change only the recorder?
Sometimes. A hybrid recorder can take existing analog cameras alongside new ones, which spreads the cost. We will check the cable and camera condition at survey before recommending it.
