About the 2 Megapixel Dual-Light FHD Dome Camera (PLC 332P AU DL2 PM)
The PLC 332P AU DL2 PM is the shorter-range member of the dual-light analog dome family: Full HD over coax, infrared and white-light night modes with automatic switching, and a 20-metre night view. It is meant for indoor rooms and sheltered positions rather than open compounds, which is also reflected in its IP65 rating, a step below the IP67 domes in the same range. A built-in microphone plus switchable AHD, TVI, CVI and CVBS output keep it usable on existing DVR systems. Choose it where the scene is close, and take the 30-metre IP67 version for exposed mounts.
Key benefits
- Twenty-metre dual-light night view suits rooms, counters and covered entrances
- IP65 rating covers dust and water exposure in sheltered positions
- Runs on existing coax with AHD, TVI, CVI or CVBS output
- Built-in microphone captures sound at counters and reception desks
- Digital noise reduction and wide dynamic range help in mixed indoor lighting
- DC12V supply within ten per cent tolerance suits standard adaptors
Where it works well
- Shop counters and cash points inside Lahore retail outlets
- Office rooms and reception desks under a false ceiling
- Restaurant dining halls and kitchen pass areas
- Covered showroom entrances protected from direct rain
- Small clinic receptions and medical store counters

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between this and the 30-metre dome?
Two things are listed differently: night view range, 20 metres here against 30 metres, and weather rating, IP65 here against IP67. Resolution, sensor, microphone and video outputs are the same on both. Position and distance should decide it, and prices for either are confirmed on WhatsApp.
Can it go on an open outdoor wall?
IP65 is rated against dust and water jets, while IP67 additionally covers temporary immersion. For a fully exposed position facing Lahore monsoon rain, the IP67 version is the safer specification. Under a canopy, a porch or a false ceiling, this model is within its rating.
Does the 20-metre figure mean it sees nothing beyond that?
No. It is the rated reach of the night illumination, so beyond that distance the scene will only be visible if some other light falls on it. In daylight the view is not limited in that way, and depends on the lens and the scene.
Will the microphone pick up conversation across the room?
The microphone is inside the camera body, so how much it captures depends on distance, background noise and the acoustics of the room. Your DVR also has to support and record audio on that channel. Where sound is being recorded, it is good practice to make that clear to staff and customers.
