About the 4 Megapixel Dual-Light Network Dome Camera

The PLC 434P AU DL3 PM sits at the entry point of Pollo's dual-light dome range, recording 2560×1440 from a 1/3-inch progressive scan CMOS. Its infrared and white-light LEDs both reach 30 metres, so you choose between discreet black-and-white footage and full-colour night video on the same unit. The dome shell and IP67 rating suit ceilings, soffits and covered entrances. One thing to weigh before ordering: this variant's feature list carries no memory card slot, so recording depends entirely on an NVR sitting on the network.

Key benefits

  • 2560×1440 recording holds enough detail to enlarge a face during playback review
  • Dual-light LEDs reach 30 metres, letting you pick infrared discretion or full-colour night video
  • Minimum illumination of 0.005 lux keeps colour usable as evening light drops away
  • Line crossing and region intrusion rules alarm on a defined zone instead of the whole frame
  • One PoE cable carries power and video, with DC12V available where no PoE port exists
  • Highlight and backlight compensation help control glare from headlights and bright doorways

Where it works well

  • Ceiling corners inside a Johar Town house or apartment lobby
  • Covered car porch of a 10-marla home in Lahore
  • Reception and waiting area of a small clinic
  • Under-soffit mounting at a shop entrance in a commercial market
  • Staircase landings inside a multi-storey office in Gulberg

Frequently asked questions

Can this camera record without an NVR?

The published feature list for this model does not include a microSD slot, so recording is handled by an NVR or recording software elsewhere on the network. If you want the camera to hold its own footage, the 6MP and 8MP models in the same dual-light family are listed with microSD support up to 256GB. Message us on WhatsApp and we will suggest the right camera-and-recorder pairing for your site.

What is the practical difference between the infrared and the white light?

Infrared produces black-and-white video and is effectively invisible to anyone standing in front of the camera. The white-light LEDs give full-colour night video, which is more useful for noting clothing or vehicle colour, but the light itself is obvious and acts as a deterrent. Both are rated to 30 metres on this model and the mode is selected in the camera settings.

Is it safe to mount outdoors in Lahore?

The housing carries an IP67 rating for water and dust, so a covered outdoor position such as a porch or soffit is fine. We still prefer to keep a dome out of direct afternoon sun and away from a constant rain line where the layout allows it. Dust settling on the dome cover is the usual reason night footage starts to look hazy here, so plan on wiping it periodically.

Will it work with an NVR I already own?

It supports ONVIF, so it will normally integrate with third-party recorders that also speak ONVIF. Detailed control of features such as line crossing and region intrusion is generally cleaner on a matched Pollo recorder than through a generic ONVIF connection. Send us your NVR model on WhatsApp and we will check compatibility before you order.

How is it powered?

It accepts PoE to IEEE 802.3af, so a single network cable from a PoE switch or NVR carries both power and video. DC12V is also supported where a power supply already exists at the camera position. The choice usually comes down to cable run length and what switch is available on site.
