About the 6 Megapixel Dual-Light Network Bullet Camera (E)

PLC 426M AU DL3 PM-E is the pared-back version of Pollo's 6MP dual-light bullet: the same 3200×1800 image from a 1/2.5-inch CMOS, the same 30-metre infrared and white-light range, but no microSD slot in its listed features. That makes it a straightforward NVR-attached camera rather than a semi-independent one. On sites where every camera already runs back to a recorder in a locked room, the card slot was never going to be used. IP67 sealing and 802.3af PoE keep the installation simple on an exposed wall or gate pillar.

Key benefits

  • Full 3K capture at 3200×1800 without paying for onboard storage you would not use
  • Thirty-metre dual-light illumination covers a dark boundary in colour or in infrared
  • 0.008 lux minimum illumination holds colour detail through fading evening light
  • IP67 housing is built for direct exposure on gates, walls and open elevations
  • PoE to 802.3af means one cable per camera back to the switch or recorder
  • Line crossing and intrusion rules alarm on a marked zone rather than any movement

Where it works well

  • Gate pillar at the entrance of a Lahore housing society
  • Factory perimeter wall with a central control room recording everything
  • Rooftop parapet covering the back lane of a house
  • Petrol pump forecourt where all cameras feed one recorder
  • Multi-camera shop fit-out with the NVR in a locked office

Frequently asked questions

Why would I pick the PM-E over the standard PM?

Only because you are certain the camera will never need to store footage itself. On a large job with a recorder on a UPS in a secure room, the card slot adds cost per camera for a function nobody will use. If any camera sits at a remote or hard-to-reach position, the PM version with microSD is the safer specification.

What happens to footage if the NVR loses power?

Nothing is stored at the camera, because this variant has no card slot in its specification, so that gap is not captured. Where that risk matters, either move to the PM version with microSD support or put the recorder and PoE switch on a UPS. We can size a suitable UPS for your camera count over WhatsApp.

Can a bullet camera be fitted under a shade or eave?

Yes, and it is generally a good idea in Lahore. The IP67 rating handles direct rain, but shading the housing keeps the front glass cleaner and reduces sun load on the body. The sun shade moulded into a bullet housing helps, though a deeper architectural overhang helps more.

Does it support two-way audio?

Audio is not listed in the published specification for this model, so plan on it as a video-only camera. If you need a microphone or speaker at that position, the Guardian Wi-Fi and 4G pan-tilt cameras do list two-way audio. Tell us what the position needs to do and we will point you to the right body style.
