It still runs on 4G and solar, still carries PIR detection to 10 metres, AI human shape filtering and two-way audio. What you give up against the dual-lens Apex Pro is the fixed wide view, so while the head is turned left, anything happening on the right is not being recorded.

Does it need home internet or Wi-Fi?

No. It carries its own 4G LTE module and connects over the mobile network using a data SIM, which is exactly why it suits plots, fields and buildings with no broadband line. If the location does have reliable Wi-Fi, one of the Guardian Wi-Fi models is usually cheaper to run because it consumes no mobile data. We can compare both for your site on WhatsApp.

Is 60 days of standby realistic?

Standby is the manufacturer's figure for the camera waiting rather than recording. Real runtime depends on how many PIR events occur, how long each clip runs and how often you open the app. On a busy street-facing position it will be much shorter, which is why the 5W solar panel matters more than the battery figure.

How does this compare with the 4G Pro model?

The Pro carries two camera modules, one fixed ultra-wide plus one on the pan-tilt head, at 2MP each.
