CCTV Supply and Installation Across Valencia Town

StrixLink supplies and fits CCTV throughout Valencia Town, from a four camera set on a five marla house to a full IP system with a PoE NVR on a kanal plot. We are an authorised Pollo Security reseller, and we are equally happy to install hardware you have already bought elsewhere.

Valencia sits on the south western side of Lahore, close to Wapda Town, EME Society and the canal approach roads, and it is a cooperative society with controlled entry points rather than an open grid. That changes the survey conversation. Work inside your own boundary wall is straightforward, while anything on a society pole, a green belt or an entry barrier is a society matter before it is an installation job.

Addresses reach us as a block letter and a house number, so send that with a rough camera count. Every model is Contact for Price, so Message us on WhatsApp for pricing and stock position.

Typical Starting Scope for Valencia Properties

These are the scopes we normally start from in Valencia and then adjust on site. Treat them as a planning guide rather than a quotation, because wall heights, tree cover and the recorder position move the count.

PropertyCameras (typical start)RecorderWhat usually decides the count
5 marla house4 to 64ch or 8chStreet and gate, main door, roof stairs, rear wall
10 marla house6 to 88chDriveway length and whether there is a back gate
1 kanal house8 to 128ch or 16chBoth side walls, servant quarter door, lawn and porch
2 kanal or corner plot12 to 2416ch or 32chPerimeter runs, often a second PoE switch near the gate
Shop or office unit3 to 64ch or 8chCounter, entrance at face height, storeroom
Empty or under construction plot1 to 2SD card or cloudSolar 4G camera where there is no power drop yet

Society Poles, Green Belts and Street Mouth Cameras

Cameras on your own walls, gate pillars, porch and parapet are nobody else’s business. The moment a camera or a cable goes onto a society pole, a park railing, a green belt or an entry gate, it becomes a society decision and should be settled in writing before we mount anything.

Street mouth cameras paid for jointly by a lane’s residents are a normal Lahore pattern and they work well when three things are agreed first: a written scope of what the camera will and will not see, a named person who holds the recorder and releases footage, and clarity on who pays for the internet and the electricity.

Aiming is the other half of it. A camera that overlooks a neighbour’s courtyard or a family area causes more trouble than the incident it was meant to catch, so privacy masking is standard practice here.

Load Shedding, Inverters and What Actually Keeps Recording

Many Valencia homes now run a hybrid inverter and battery bank, so the useful survey question is which side of the distribution board the recorder sits on.

  • Recorder on the backed up circuit — The NVR, the PoE switch and the router all need to sit on the protected side. Moving that one circuit is a small job during installation and an awkward one afterwards.
  • Internet on backup as well — If the router or ONU drops during load shedding, recording carries on but the mobile app goes quiet. That is the single most common complaint we are called out for.
  • A small dedicated UPS where there is no inverter — The outage window is exactly the footage people ask for after an incident, so the recorder should never be the first thing that switches off.
  • Surge protection and earthing on external runs — Rooftop and boundary runs take a beating from voltage swings and monsoon storms. Earthing costs far less than replacing a switch and a set of cameras.
  • Solar and 4G where there is no connection at all — For an unbuilt plot or a boundary wall with no power drop, a solar 4G camera is the honest answer rather than pulling temporary cable.

Where the Cameras Usually Go on a Valencia House

Gate and street mouth

Wide enough to see the approach, tight enough that the neighbour’s gate is masked out.

Driveway and porch

Vehicle and face capture where the light is more predictable at night.

Side walls

The quiet side of a plot is where wall climbing happens, especially on a corner.

Back gate and servant area

A second entrance is a second front door, and most four camera packages miss it.

Roof stairs

Roof access from an adjoining wall is a standard route into a built up block.

Entrance hall

One discreet indoor camera at the main door, with family areas left uncovered.

How a Valencia Installation Runs

Survey and route walk

We walk the plot with you, agree camera positions and, just as importantly, agree the cable route you are happy to see on the wall.

Written scope and Contact for Price quotation

You get models, counts, cable type, recorder and storage days in writing. Pricing comes to you on WhatsApp or by email rather than being published.

Installation

Conduit or casing, glanded junction boxes, labelled cable ends and a ventilated recorder position that is not inside a cupboard full of clothes.

Configuration and handover

Recording schedule, storage days, privacy masks, the app on your phones and a short walkthrough of exporting a clip. If a camera drops offline later, the same team handles the repair visit.

Send Your Valencia Block and Camera Count

Message us on WhatsApp with your block, the property type and how many cameras you have in mind, or email info@strixlink.com. We will come back with a scope and a Contact for Price quotation.

Frequently asked questions

Do you install in all Valencia Town blocks?

Yes. Send your block letter and house number on WhatsApp and we will confirm a survey slot. If the society gate needs prior intimation for contractor entry, please inform the guard on the day.

How many cameras does a 10 marla house in Valencia need?

Six to eight on an 8 channel recorder is the usual starting point, covering the gate and street, the porch, both side walls, the back gate and the roof stairs. The final count is fixed at survey rather than on the phone.

Can I put a camera on an empty plot before construction starts?

Yes. With no power drop and no internet on site, a solar 4G camera on the boundary wall or on a pole inside the plot is the practical option, recording to an SD card or to the cloud.

What will the job cost?

We do not publish figures because camera model, cable run and storage days change the total on every job. Send your requirement on WhatsApp for a Contact for Price quotation, or read our installation cost guide to see how a quotation is built up.

Can you install cameras I have already bought?

Yes, we take on customer supplied hardware. We will tell you honestly at survey if a model will not do what you expect at night or over a long cable run, before it goes on the wall.

Will the system keep recording during load shedding?

Only if the recorder, PoE switch and router are on a backed up circuit. If you already have an inverter we move that circuit across at installation. If not, a small dedicated UPS covers the outage window.

Can I watch the cameras from outside Pakistan?

Yes, with the right recorder and app configuration. Many Pakistani ISP connections use CGNAT, which breaks the old port forwarding method, so we set up cloud based access instead and test it before handover.
