About the PTZ Controller Keyboard
Operators who spend their shift steering PTZ cameras work far faster with a physical joystick than with a mouse, and that is what the PLC PTC K12 PM provides. A 4D joystick, knob and dedicated buttons sit alongside a small 320 x 240 TFT display used for menus and status rather than for watching video. It connects over a 10/100 Ethernet port and can draw power over PoE to IEEE 802.3af, or from a DC 12V supply. Understand what it is: a control surface. You still need a monitor, decoder or client software for the actual picture.

Frequently asked questions
Can I watch the cameras on the keyboard screen?
Not usefully. The 320 x 240 TFT display is there for menus, addresses and status information, not for video review. Pair the keyboard with a monitor, a decoder or client software for the live picture.
Does it need a separate power adapter?
Not necessarily. It accepts DC 12V at 2A, but it also supports PoE to the IEEE 802.3af standard, so a compliant switch can power it over the same network cable. PoE is usually the tidier option at an operator desk.
Will it work with older PTZ cameras on serial wiring?
It provides one RS422 and one RS232 port and supports baud rates from 1200 to 19200 bps, which covers a lot of legacy serial equipment. Compatibility still depends on the protocol your cameras speak. Send us the camera or dome model on WhatsApp and we will check before you commit.
